The Ford Expedition sees no major changes for 2008. However, it is a worthy successor to the 2007 model, which saw quite a few significant changes including standard side-impact air bags and a three-row safety canopy rollover detection system with stability control. This apart, most of the other changes are restricted to the interior. And yes, there is the King Ranch edition, which is ideal for the ranch dweller.

A sport utility vehicle that has been built on the same platform as the F-150, the nine-seater Expedition is perfect for arduous and adventurous expeditions given its brawny 300 horsepower, generated effortlessly by the 5.4-liter, V-8 engine. The transmission is a six-speed automatic with either rear- or four-wheel drive. The EL version is bigger.

The King Ranch gets lots more. The exterior gets monochromatic paint, parking sensor, and power windows among other standard features.
Safety
