UTILITY COMPARISON

You could say that the Mustang Mach E is beating Tesla at its own game. But that’s forgetting that Ford has been making best-selling cars for more than 100 years. So in truth, it’s no surprise that the Mach E has swept onto the scene and won award after award after award.

Cutting Edge. We’ve got that.

When the Mach e won the Consumer Reports Top Pick in February 2022, they noted that the Ford win “bumps the Model 3 from the list”.

How is the Pony EV beating Tesla? It comes down to two things. First, Ford combines capability, power, exterior style, interior excellence, cutting-edge technologies, and more to deliver a product that just happens to be an electric ride. Second, it is challenging other EVs when it comes to the right combination of power and driving range at more reasonable prices.

Reliable Quality. We’ve got that too!

When Car and Driver tested the Mustang Mach e against other electric vehicles, the test drivers noted they had “quality issues with all three of the Teslas we had for a period of three weeks.”

In July 2022, CNBC noted that by becoming such a big hit with “industry insiders”, Ford positioned itself to challenge Tesla. They also noted that Ford has shown “better reliability”.

Incredible Value. Consider it done!

Ford’s premium materials and build quality won over Car and Driver when they named it tops over 10 competitors including Tesla. In fact, Car and Driver noted that the Ford’s quality made other EVs -- which were more expensive -- look like “rip-offs."

To be specific, the Ford Mustang Mach E beat every Tesla in the contest. That included the Model 3 Performance, Model S Long Range Plus, and Model Y Performance.

CNBC cites these points in favor of the Mach e. Comparing it to Tesla EVs and other models, Ford’s infotainment voice and touch screen system is “easier to use”. Driver assistance is considered “superior”.

AWARDS AND ACCOLADES

The Mustang Mach E just can’t stop winning. Look at these awards and accolades it has received this model year and in 2021, when it was a brand new model. Keep in mind that it was beating out Tesla whenever it took first place.
