Why Doesn't Honda Make A Full-Size Suv?
Our staff is occasionally asked “why doesn’t Honda make a full-size SUV?” Honda’s approach to its SUVs has been to keep them trim on the outside and extremely roomy on the inside. That’s why the Pilot can claim 38 inches of legroom. With more than 150 cubic feet of passenger volume, this three-row SUV is big enough to handle large families as they venture forth to school, activities, or vacations. There’s really not much need to be bigger than this SUV which seats up to 8.
Now the Passport has been created. While it is big like the Pilot, this Honda SUV only seats five people. That’s so that it can provide over 40 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats up. As you can see, Honda has plenty of big SUVs without creating what some manufacturers label a “full-size SUV”.
We should also mention the Odyssey, although it isn’t technically one of the Honda SUV models. This minivan is extremely spacious and packed with amenities that families need. It can stand up to a full-size SUV any time.
Why is the Honda CR-V so popular in the United States?
Automotive journalists at every major outlet like the Honda CRV. This includes Edmunds, Car and Driver, Kelley Blue Book, U.S. News and World Report, and more. It is recognized as the total package, giving people more of what they want at a good price. More than this, families like the CR-V. The big backseat, the large cargo space, and the comfortable cabin make them feel at home. It also helps to have a good safety record and a big suite of Honda Sensing technologies.
Is A Used Honda CRV A Good Buy?
Perhaps you are interested in a Honda SUV used model. We don’t blame you. Hondas are made to last. You can see that when you look at used CRVs. These were made well with plenty of advanced features and good quality materials. They, therefore, age well and provide ample space and comfort for a used car shopper. The Honda brand is known for its longevity, and you can find 2005 and 2006 Honda CR-Vs still on the road today. Earnhardt Honda offers the best in new, certified-pre owned and used Honda CR-Vs.
