This is an exciting time for pickup truck lovers.  The 2022 Ford Lightning is coming, and with it, the best reason ever to trade your truck. If you want to sell your truck, but you don’t want to buy anything new, that’s no problem at Earnhardt Ford.  Your truck trade-in value is sure to put some cash in your pocket for the things you need now. Keep reading to get the scoop on the incredible new electric truck from Ford. How the 2022 Ford Lightning Earns Its Spot in the Lineup To earn a spot in the F150 lineup, the 2022 Ford Lightning has to be plenty tough and plenty capable. It does that by producing more torque than the F150 Raptor and handling bigger tows than the entry level F150. Rather than be a one-size-fits-all, the F150 Lightning comes in Pro, XLT, Lariat and Platinum editions.  Furthermore, it has two battery ranges. One can go up to 230 miles while the other can go up to 300 miles.  Horsepower is rated at 426 or 563 while the high torque rate is universal. How Does a Ford Electric Truck Reduce Costs Adding to its competitiveness, the electric vehicle may qualify you for federal energy tax credits.  Furthermore, the special electric build will lower maintenance costs by about 40 percent over eight years. The pricetag on the F150 Lightning Pro is so low, especially with the tax credit, that it is competitive with many trucks of similar capability.  With so many reasons to go electric, it’s hard to think of a reason not to. When you think about the fact that the typical truck’s fuel economy goes down when towing or carrying a heavy load, you start to realize just how much gas that a Ford electric truck can save! This F150 is tough and sturdy. It can pull a load of 7,700 pounds with the regular battery or 10,000 pounds with the stronger battery.  Many businesses individuals will be able to do everything they need to do with tow ratings like that.  Payload is 1,500 pounds. Plus, there’s a compartment under the hood of the truck.  This Mega Power Frunk can handle up to 400 pounds of gear or luggage. No other truck can do that. Check out the 2022 Ford Lightning at Earnhardt Ford You can get all the details about the 2022 Ford Lightning from the experts at Earnhardt Ford. The truck will be offered in four trim levels including the XLT, Lariat and Platinum. All of the standard F150 gear is offered on these trucks, making it possible for you to get the complete suite of driver assistance systems and the long list of Ford-exclusive trailering assistance. What’s not to love about this truck?  Make a reservation now and be the first in your crowd to drive this remarkable pickup.

The 2022 Ford Maverick Phoenix is coming soon, and pickup truck enthusiasts are wondering how it differs from the Ford Ranger.  Here’s what we know so far.  Feel free to contact us with your questions. What’s the Difference Between the 2022 Ford Maverick and the Ford Ranger? First, let’s answer the questions on every person’s mind who hears about the new smaller Ford truck.  Is it just the pricetag?  No, there are other differences.  However, the Maverick’s MSRP is just under $20,000 while the Ranger’s MSRP starts off just over $25,000. Second, is the Maverick really Built Ford Tough?  Absolutely. The Maverick may be compact, but it has a sturdy unibody construction.  Compact, it has the tightest turning diameter of any midsize truck. If you are regularly darting in and out of busy Phoenix streets, you’ll find this truck is easier to maneuver. Maverick vs Ranger Truck Engine Output The 2022 Phoenix Maverick will be the first pickup truck in America to have a STANDARD hybrid powertrain. The 2021 Ford Ranger comes with one of the most powerful engines in a midsize truck today, but it is still remarkably fuel efficient. So you can definitely say that they have efficiency in common. The Ranger boasts one of the lowest, if not the lowest, ownership costs among midsize trucks.  That’s due to its money-saving fuel economy.  It earns 21 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.  Now the Maverick hybrid can claim the best ownership costs with its 40-mpg fuel economy.  That’s a 500-mile range for the 2022 Ford Maverick Phoenix owner. The standard Ranger engine generates 270 horsepower whereas the Maverick will be offering a hybrid powertrain that generates 191 horsepower.  If you make some comparisons, you'll find that the new truck’s horsepower surpasses some gas-powered midsize trucks by other manufacturers. Find out more about Ranger pricing. For the Maverick, you can also choose a standard EcoBoost engine that generates 250 horsepower. While the Ranger’s torque rate is 310 pound-feet, the Maverick’s will be 277 pound-feet as its most capable. Ford is making it possible for you to reserve a Maverick now. Maverick vs Ranger Pickup Truck Capability The Ranger tows up to 7,500 pounds while the Maverick can tow either 2,000 pounds or 4,000 pounds depending on the powertrain. Either truck would need the Trailer Tow Package to get maximum capability. The standard payload limit is 1,500 pounds. The Maverick’s 4.5-foot bed is smaller than the Ranger’s standard 5-foot bed.  To make the most of the space, the Flexbed system comes with six or ten tie-down spots, depending on the trim level. Find out more about the Maverick price. Maverick vs Ranger Pickup Truck Trim Levels Both trucks will come in XL, XLT and Lariat trim levels, but this does not mean that the standard lists are the same.  Safe to say, there will be plenty of high tech infotainment on both vehicles, and many amenities will be the same or similar.  However, the Maverick price point rules out some amenities.  For instance, the Ranger Lariat comes with leather seats whereas the ActiveX Desert Brown seats in the Maverick Lariat are made of  premium vinyl. With all of this in mind, we can heartily recommend the 2022 Ford Maverick.  It represents a new way to drive Ford Tough.  Just as the Ranger made waves a few years ago, we expect the Maverick to set new standards of what a smaller truck can do.  When will the Maverick be available? Whether you sell to dealerships, car trade in lots, or individual buyers, you’ll need certain items for the legal part of the transaction.  What do you need to trade a car? Here’s what you need to know. Preparing to Trade in a Car If you have made the decision to trade your vehicle in, you will need to take a few extra steps before bringing it to a dealership. You should thoroughly clean the vehicle and address any details that may detract from its value. Dealerships offer the most for vehicles that are in good shape. You want it to be ready to sell as soon as it is traded in. By the way, Earnhardt Ford staff has handled plenty of trades, and if you have questions, you can certainly call our dealership.  We offer an easy way to get a cash offer on your car, SUV or truck.  This online valuation tool is simple and trustworthy. It’s run by Kelley Blue Book not by Earnhardt Ford. Get the Paperwork Together First, you should make sure that you have the paperwork to prove that you are the rightful owner of the vehicle. This includes your title and registration.  Perhaps it is a vehicle that has a co-owner. If so, you’ll need that person to be present for the final transaction.  These rules are determined by the state of Arizona to protect everyone’s rights in a transaction. You’ll also need your driver’s license to prove your identity.  If you have other paperwork, such as the car’s service and maintenance records, please bring those as well. If you are coming to Earnhardt Ford, you’ll want to bring along the cash offer you got from our Kelley Blue Book online tool.  This expert valuation is your ticket to a fair price. Gather Keys and Accessories Next, you should gather all of the keys and accessories that were included with the vehicle when you purchased it; having these will allow you to receive as much as possible for the vehicle.   Today’s keys can be worth $150 or $300. You want to provide both sets to the dealership, ensuring that they will be counted in the final total. Furthermore, you should get any accessories that you may have removed from the car. These include such things as the cargo net for the trunk and the special wrench for the tire’s lug nuts.  Likewise, if anything has fallen off in the interior, bring the pieces with you.  This includes such things as light covers, knobs, and fixtures. Timing the Payment with Turning Over the Car Timing your receipt of the payment with turning over the car is very important if you are dealing with a sale to an individual. You don’t want to sign over your SUV only to find out their check bounced.  Furthermore, it is unlikely that you want to trust an individual to make payments if you sign the car over to them first. At Earnhardt Ford, our check will never bounce. It’s as good as having the cash in your hand.  When you sign over the car to us, we will ensure that every i is dotted and every t is crossed.  There will be no legal difficulties when our deal is done.  Contact us to talk or make an appointment. Two Ways to Trade Your Car at Earnhardt Ford Get your cash offer using our online tool and visit our dealership within seven days to redeem it.  Feel free to call and make an appointment to ensure that the process is convenient for you. Located in Avondale, AZ, we are happy to serve all Arizonans.  If you are in the Phoenix area, we are probably close by.  For more information, you can click here for Hours and Directions. With No Bull Express, we can handle everything remotely and come to your home to make the final transaction. Following these steps will not only prepare you to trade in your vehicle, it will also allow you to receive a good settlement for your car, truck or SUV.

A car is an investment that can take you to work. A truck may be part of your work.  An SUV becomes a tax for the kids.  At a certain point, your vehicle becomes unwanted. You want to sell it and expect a cash offer for car that helps pay you back. You may not know that Earnhardt Ford can make a cash offer for your car.  We buy cars for our used car inventory all of the time. To have enough cars, we cannot rely strictly on trades. Our procurement staff is always on the lookout for a good vehicle like yours probably is. Cash Offer for Car or Just a Catch Phrase? The words ‘cash offer for car’ is sort of a catch phrase for advertisers. To consumers, however, it’s serious business. They expect to get a decent price for their car, and they expect someone who offers cash for cars to be willing to make a fair offer. Too often, there are dealerships that are just trying to get people in the door. They are just looking for those who hear the word cash and think that means that they will get a big payout. It’s sort of a dishonest way of portraying the process of valuing a car. Car valuations are complicated, and anyone who tells you it’s easy is probably planning to make a lowball offer. Online valuations can be tricky when they come from companies that are used car wholesalers. They are just trying to get a bunch of cars on the cheap. They aren’t interested in their customers or their needs. Earnhardt Ford is one of those dealerships that is different.  What we can promise you is that we are an honest company that knows the car industry and knows how to value your car accurately. Contact us. Planning to Sell Your Car for Cash: How to Succeed If you are planning to sell your car for cash, we can tell you a few things about how to proceed and how to succeed. You should know how much your car is worth in today’s market. For that you can count on Kelley Blue Book. Then you should understand how the condition of your car will affect the final deal. Finally, you should steer clear of anyone who seems to be offering you easy money or who implies that they are desperate and will pay any amount you name for your car. Selling your car for cash and getting a good price is possible. You need a reputable dealership that wants your trade. We are that dealership. Don’t sell yourself short in the quest for quick cash.  As you investigate what your car is worth and look at possible deals, please reach out to our staff to get details about what we would offer on your trade.

To understand the value of an individual car, it helps to be involved in selling new and used cars. As a staffer’s expertise grows, they may become part of the procurement team.  Each person who is allowed to evaluate cars for purchase must have an understanding of the many different factors that affect a car’s worth. We know that you are counting on us to give you the best price we can on your car.  It’s certainly our aim to make you happy. Of course, we can’t promise a perfect experience, but we aim to do our very best for each driver who wants to sell their car to us. Your goal should be to establish that they are a reputable company.  You should know what data they use to determine the price for your vehicle. They should have real people in town that can discuss your truck’s valuation. Reputable Truck Trade Valuation Tool Earnhardt Ford offers the best way to sell your truck online. How a Truck Trade In Value Decided? Kelley Blue Book utilizes a number of strategies to determine how much a truck is worth.  The company’s analysts look at reputation. This is analyzed by the brand, by the model, and by the specific year.  KBB gathers data continuously and looks at repair records, dependability, recalls, safety records, and other clues as to how well the specific truck model is holding up to regular use. The goal is to determine truck or car longevity and judge its value accordingly. Looking at the market, KBB judges popularity with buyers.  It also looks at whether rivals are doing better or worse.  Other factors come into play here, such as how many of the same make and model are on the market.  These and many other data points are brought into the equation. For more information, you can check out this article “ Understanding a Kelley Blue Book Trade in Value.” Beyond that, KBB takes into account the mileage and service records of the particular truck. Has it been in a wreck? How many owners has it had? How has it been used (if known)?  Of course, the system takes into account how well maintained the vehicle is and what trim level it is. Many people who are looking for cash ponder whether they should trade in or sell car in Phoenix, AZ. There are two main reasons that people choose trading in a vehicle to a dealership rather than selling it themselves. Reason #1  A Car Trade In Equals More Money for the Vehicle Generally the best way to receive cash for a vehicle is to go through a reputable car dealership, such as Earnhardt Ford.  We offer a valuation tool that can assist you with determining how much your vehicle will be worth as a trade in. Using our valuation tool will help you easily start your trade in process by providing you with an actual offer on your vehicle. It takes all the guesswork out of selling it and puts money in your hand. By the way, Earnhardt Ford does not ask that you buy from us.  We actually want to buy your car because it gives us more used cars to sell.  So rest assured, we are ready to make a good deal on your old car. Reason #2: Selling your vehicle privately often undervalues your car investment On the other hand, selling a car yourself will take time if you want to receive the most money for your vehicle. If you can wait, then you could get more, but waiting is definitely the name of the game. Often sellers give in to a friend or family member, selling their car for less than its worth. Private sales tend to have one of two outcomes.  They may be a fast sale with the seller walking away with less money than the car is worth. This may be due to money pressures or to family or friend pressure for a lower price. Or, when the seller takes the time to offer the car for its true value, this can take time to find a buyer who is willing to pay what the vehicle is worth. This can be a long process and still may not result in the price the seller wants. These are reasons that many people have realized that private selling is not always worth the hassle. Smart Shortcuts to Selling Your Vehicle Even if you don’t want to sell it to a dealership, you will want to establish a good idea of your car's trade in value before you list the car for sale. Understanding the value of your vehicle will provide leverage for you when you are negotiating a price for your vehicle. You can do that with a trade in offer from Earnhardt Ford. Our offers are based on the Kelley Blue Book value of your car, SUV or truck.  It is a firm offer and it’s valid for seven days. If you want to get the most from selling a vehicle, you definitely need to know how much that offer is. Frankly, this is why trading a vehicle into a reputable new car dealership is the best option for many sellers. It reduces the amount of negotiating and time that they will need to use before selling their vehicle. Earnhardt Ford is seeking to purchase vehicles at this time and we encourage you to use our free Kelley Blue Book valuation tool. You will have a firm offer that you can use.  That’s a fair price and cash in hand without any of the hassle of a private sale.
