These large F-series trucks take towing power to the next level with their upgrades for the 2020 model year. The 2020 also has new trailering technology, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi now comes standard. Here are some of the best features that you can find in the 2020 Ford Super Duty Line.

The Engines

You can also still get the 6.2-liter V-8 gas engine along with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V-8 engine that generates 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. Ford added a new 10-speed heavy-duty TorqShift automatic transmission for these trucks, and this transmission comes standard with all three engines. When properly equipped, the 2020 Super Duty is able to tow over 35,000 pounds and handle over 7600 pounds in the bed.

The Trailering Technology

The new trailer technology that is now available for the Super Duty line includes the class-exclusive Pro Trailer Backup Assist. This makes it easy for the driver to handle large trailers with relative ease, even when they have to fit in tight spaces. They can use the Pro Trailer Backup Assist knob instead of the steering wheel to maneuver the trailer. The reverse camera provides a view of the trailer, and the Reverse Guidance system shows the trailer angle and will provide steering suggestions to help direct the trailer back in the most efficient way.

The Entertainment Technology

FordPass Connect now comes standard in all Super Duty trucks and includes 4G LTE Wi-Fi for up to ten devices. A wireless charging pad is now available, depending on the trim level, in addition to USB-C charging ports. A touch-screen display is also available, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities and the SYNC 3 infotainment system.

Safety Equipment

All the 2020 Super Duty models get hill start assist, a rearview camera system, and AdvancTrac with Roll stability control. A 360-degree camera is available depending on the trim, and the Co-Pilot360 suite of advanced safety features comes standard on every model except the base XL. This includes blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, lane departure alert and lane-keeping assist, a pre-collision system with automatic braking, and automatic high beam headlights.

The Tremor Off-Road Package

The Tremor package is all-new for 2020 and makes the Super Duty more capable than ever when handling rough terrain. This package updates the suspension to control body motion and it adds 35-inch Goodyear maximum traction tires and unique 18-inch matte-black wheels. The Super Duty Tremor comes with Trail Control along with a rock control mode that helps you get up and over rocky terrain. This version of the Super Duty has an impressive 10.4 inches of ground clearance, and the Tremor package gives it improved approach and departure angles.
